"I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of
this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is
my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world." John 6:51
This was the daily scripture given from Blue Bible, and it made me think of all the holiday food that we enjoy. Women are busy in the kitchen preparing goodies for special times during December. It is fun, brings a feeling of Christmas. It is so fun to give a gift of homemade goodies.
It is an example of the gift Jesus is to us. He was the ultimate gift. He is the Living Bread. He is Eternal.
As you work in the kitchen, making those holiday goodies, remember Jesus. When you choose gifts for others, remember Jesus, the ultimate gift. Don't forget to give Jesus to those who don't know Him.
Make this a Jesus filled Christmas. Make Jesus the best gift for others. Be the shining candle. As you start the Christmas celebration, Celebrate Jesus!!
