Beautiful day, nice chair in the back yard, birds singing, and a bottle of bubbles for Nate to blow away. So much fun to watch. Not to mention the fresh air is great for morale and healing.
Patrick is doing well in Haiti. He's waiting to go to the village until Agape arrives.
We received the call that Patrick's prosthesis will be here when we return from Sarasota. That will be exciting. Hoping it will be a perfect fit, so his "real" prosthesis will be ordered.
I Peter 5:10 "But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you."
Is it the God of all grace that will make us perfect, stablish, strengthen and settle us? Or is it the suffering? I think through suffering the God of all grace does His perfect work in us.
God is so good. May His blessing be on you.

Hi Barb! I'm a preschool teacher so I can relate to blowing bubbles. I'm a part of a daily prayer team and we pray for all of you and Haiti every day. Suffering, ah , yes! Reminds me of a song by Ginny Owen called, "If you want me to". The words talk about being willing to go through the fire if God wants us to. Ginny is blind and has had her share of trials but she has a good perspective. Our attitude is a big determiner of our joy and peace. God bless you sister. Keep the joy in Jesus!
