Hezekiah

I love the story of Hezekiah. Great leader. But more than Hezekiah being great was how God showed His attributes in his life. Hezekiah knew God, he commanded his people not to fear the army of Sennacerib because they only had the power of man but Jerusalem had God's power. Hezekiah confessed the sins of his people and God forgave them. Then in 2 Chronicles 32:31 says that God left him alone (Hezekiah) to test him to see what his true motives are.

God didn't leave him, he just stayed in the shadows a while to test him.

God is sovereign. God is holy. God is love. We serve an amazing God.

Today was wonderful having friends visit from Sarasota. Actually they arrived yesterday afternoon. We not only visited, but they also helped with some house chores. Wonderful. Ended the visit with lunch at Olive Garden. Thankful for friends.

Tomorrow is the day I get my prosthesis and also Patrick returns from Haiti.

God bless you
