This morning's message challenged me to wonder how often I have believed the label people put on me. What are some labels we have heard since we were children? Loser, failure, no good, ugly, and one I have heard in Haiti "little demon"? Do we grow up believing this of ourselves? Or do we find redemption in our Lord, knowing that those labels are proven untrue of us.
We all work through words spoken that have cut to the core of our spirit. But we have a Lord that has redeemed us, called us precious and takes joy in us. We are winners under the blood of Jesus Christ.
Let's hold up the banner that says redeemed, forgiven and victor!! For that is who we are.
