Mount Everest and the Mustard Seed

I am sorry about yesterday's post. I don't know why it was deleted. As we know computers also have a mind of their own.

Matt. 17:20 "So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

Agape and I were talking of the majestic Mount Everest. The highest mountain peak in the world—almost 30,000 feet. That is almost as high as jets fly!! And if that is majestic, God created it. Yes, He is majesty!!

Look at the verse...in the same verse, Jesus speaks of a mountain and the mustard seed. A mustard seed is a very small seed—the smallest of all seeds. Now if my faith is as a mustard seed, and it can move a mountain, my question is what size of a mountain? Our mountains can be quite high in our eyes. The mountains of tragedy, bills, sickness, amputations, etc. Are these mountains too high for God? Are they too high for our "mustard seed?" I want to say "no."

For myself, the mountain is usually what I perceive the problem to be. As soon as I claim the faith as a mustard seed, I am then looking at the God of the situation and not on the situation. I need to keep my eyes on God, and the mountain will move. When? Not sure. It doesn't matter. If I have God to climb the mountain, then It is fine. Yes, even with one leg! God will move my mountain.

Oh yes, there are days the situation looked like an Everest, but it moved. God is in our situations! He takes care of our "Mountains."

Just for the record, the verse doesn't say the mountain disappears, but it moves.

God bless you
